All right....

*Sigh* It's been a while... and a day. I could go on almost endlessly about how busy things have been (busy in a good way) and how I just haven't had time to post and yada yada... but I'll save that for later. ;)

Right now, I'm going to say something that I should've over a month ago. But, as you see, posting hasn't really been an option. ;)

What I should've said, is Happy Birthday to my Dad! His birthday was the 5th of last month. Almost the month before last. Ah, time flies. To spare the confusion, it was December 5th.

Dad is pretty much a one-and-only kind of man, in an admirable way. He is patient, approachable, slow to judge and astonishingly slow to anger, quick to listen and forgive, understanding... He loves his family and has always tried his absolute best to provide for us, spiritually and physically. He has taught me from the time I was born about God's Word (the absolute greatest gift a father can give. Thank you SO much!), answered my questions about Scripture, trained me and corrected me. I'm so thankful to the Lord for the understanding and wisdom my dad has imparted to me. He has been an instrument used of God to keep me from walking in unrighteousness... he has reeled me in, even when I didn't want to be. He has been firm and constant in what he believes. He is truly a man of principle. He has been a faithful minister, even when times have been so terribly hard and so tearing on his health and mind. He is a patient minister with his flock, and cares for them like a father.

In short, he has been a faithful, tender, caring, diligent husband, father, grandfather, minister... and well, man. I am so grateful to the Lord for my dad and for the way He has used him for His glory and our good!
All my love, Dad! Happy Birthday!
